What Are the Stakes?

In partnership with Active-Faith.org and the team with Mario Murillo, we are going to stake the Capital Region starting Saturday, September 5th at 8am to declare this region for Christ.

Moses commanded the people of God to write His commands “on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates” (Deut. 6:8-9)

We don’t have gates, but we do have roads.

The act of staking the borders of a property or a city is not magical, nor is it a talisman or superstition. There is nothing special about a stake in itself, nor the person who is driving a stake into the ground. It is the act of marking the land with scripture that is a symbol of faithfulness and submission to God’s authority – a calling out to God to bless the land and rescue His people.

We need your help!

There will be a Zoom Training here at Christ’s Church on Thursday, Sept 3rd at 6pm with Dr. Charli Caraway and Steve Hemphill.

Teams will go out on Saturday Sept. 5th at 8am to specified locations to pray, read scripture aloud, and stake the Capital for Christ. A brunch will follow for debrief and testimonies.
